Hi, I’m David and I own and operate Excel Custom PC Services with my amazing wife Deanna. We have been providing computer services to the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas for the past 10 years, although we have a little more history than just that.
I fell in love with computers with my first “486” back in the early 90’s. In ’98 I helped design and build my high school’s first website (which was horrendous by today’s standards). After that I began fixing computers for friends and family. It remained that way until I met my wife Deanna. Shortly after we were married we decided to start ECPCS. Now we run our “Mom and Pop” shop and couldn’t be happier!
For the first few years it was only us, Deanna taking care of the administrative side of things and me working on computers. Then, a couple of years ago we started working with our friends over at Nicely Done Sites. Since then we have expanded our business to include web design, graphic design and print services, remote support and Windows and Android app development.
Below you will find some of our policies on our guarantee, warranties, on-site repair etc… It is our intention to be completely transparent and upfront. The last thing we like to see when doing business is hidden charges or unexpected costs so we modeled our business that way. There is no “fine print”, no hidden charges.
Our guarantee is very simple, if we can’t fix your problem – you don’t owe us anything. This applies for all computer repair services, virus removal services, PC optimization, upgrades and new builds. This guarantee does not apply to any type of web or graphic design.
Every Excel Custom PC system and replacement part includes lifetime technical support and a minimum of 1 (one) year parts and 3 (three) year labor warranty unless otherwise noted. This includes upgrades purchased through Excel Custom PC, should you wish to make upgrades to your computer. See the “Limitation of Liability” section listed on the “Terms and Conditions
” page for exceptions to this coverage. All parts are warranted by the original manufacturer. Our policy in the event of hardware failure is to replace the defective part if a replacement part is available. Otherwise, the defective part will be sent back to the original manufacturer for servicing. If the original manufacturer finds that the part was damaged due to misuse, abuse, natural disaster, or modification (including overclocking and unsanctioned BIOS or firmware updates) the customer will be responsible for all parts and labor charges.
Local Onsite Repair
In a lot of repair cases, we will be able to provide local onsite repair which provides a very quick solution to a given problem. However, there may be instances when a system needs to be brought back to our shop for further diagnosis and testing to completely fix the problem. Our goal is to provide fast, efficient service while maintaining the integrity of your system. Any warranty associated with repair parts or labor will be indicated on your invoice. Please keep your invoice to take advantage of all warranties.
For issues with ECPCS custom computers, you must have your invoice number to obtain technical support if applicable. Technical issues are handled via email and phone. We are open 9am - 9pm EST, M-F, and are closed on weekends and major holidays. Tech support for operating systems is limited to aspects directly related to hardware functionality. Support for other operating system and software features must be obtained through the original manufacturer.
